Simply Daughter
“Daughter, wake up and look inside yourself; you know that nothing can knock you down."
Speaks of a woman who is awakening her inner strength, whose dialogue is intimate and vertical,
ignoring the horizontal, that is, the earthly and physical of this world, and in the upper left corner she
finds what she would most like to do: Fly.

Red Firs
This painting makes me think of tall pine trees in a forest. I have spent a lot of time in New Mexico, Colorado, and California and I always loved hiking in the forest and mountain areas. There is just something about a forest that makes you feel alive and part of something larger than yourself. It’s a spiritual experience that you only get when you are immersed in nature.
I used acrylic and tempera paints to get the bold colors in this piece. The greens, oranges, and reds really work for me. I also prepared the canvas before applying the paint to give it a more complex and interesting feeling. Finally, I applied several coats of non-toxic polyurethane to bring out the vibrant colors and protect the paint I think this painting can make a real statement in a living room, family room or entryway. A bold painting can be just the thing to set off a room that needs a little color.
I hope this painting can take you back to a time and place where you were surrounded by trees. Perhaps a special place you think about from time to time.
Colors: Magenta, orange, yellow, sky blue, lime green, black

The Language of Flowers
A gentle still life, where blooms and fruit speak without words.
The arrangement is quiet, yet full—like a prayer of gratitude.
It reminds us that beauty doesn’t need to shout;
it often lives in the quietest corners of a sunlit room.

I Look Up
In the stillness of morning, she lifts her eyes—not in search of answers, but in quiet faith. A visual echo of Psalm 27:1, this piece invites you to look upward and find strength in His light.

Journey of Faith
This piece depicts the Twelve Apostles walking together in a vibrant, sacred journey of faith. Inspired by stained glass windows and the beauty of early church art, it weaves together bold colors, gold leaf, and shimmering mother-of-pearl to reflect the light of divine calling.
The apostles are faceless—not anonymous, but timeless. Their identities are not found in features, but in their response to a call greater than themselves.
The mosaic-like composition suggests that every step, every person, is part of a divine pattern. And the golden lines that hold them together hint at the Spirit that unites them beyond human understanding.
This is not just their journey.
It is ours, too.
A journey walked not by sight, but by faith.

Light of Faith
A quiet moment of prayer, surrounded by waves of radiant color.
This piece portrays the stillness of faith in the midst of movement—
a soul rooted not in certainty, but in trust.
The woman’s posture is soft, but her spirit is strong.
The light does not merely fall upon her; it emerges through her.
For faith is not only a response to light—it becomes the light.
